I gain inspiration from both simple and unexpected moments in every day life. You’ll most often find me photographing travel and food stories and documenting street life. My style is candid, capturing real moments and stories as though I’m not there.
I use photography to journal the beautiful experiences I’ve been lucky to have, to share with others and inspire them to see what and how I see.

By day I’m a product and program director with an extensive skillset in product design, immersive content production and interactive experience development. A former research scientist, I particularly love to work on applying tech to 'wicked' life science problems or truly innovative applications of technology.
My recent work has focused on the practical application of VR & AR – with a particular passion for working with users to deliver on their power as communication, engagement and learning tools. Blending immersive content with experiential design – I love to co-create boundary-pushing experiences with users to bring their ideas into virtual reality.
In amongst a varied work life, I’ve always been a photographer & writer. I’ve finally resolved to curate my very own corner of the digital ether to share the world as I see it. Born in the Outer Hebrides (currently living in Edinburgh) I never stay still for long…
Curious by nature, some of my favourite photographs are made when travelling solo. Following my nose, following the light, no itinerary to follow. Having wandered the world over the last 20 years, I’ve come to appreciate the art of slow travel. I’ve found that I create my best work when in unknown places - forcing me to notice, listen and find connection in new environments. A huge fan of taking my sweet time looking and seeing - some peoples’ idea of a nightmare travel companion.
